Davis gets to wear his costume to MDO this morning. He won't know till time to get dressed. If i tell him any sooner than that, he'll put it on imediately and demand to go....if I'd told him last night, he probably would have slept in it...Cooper gets out at noon today for parent /teacher conference, and doesn't have to go tomorrow. we will have two full days of dressing up. We go to our church's fall festival tonight, trick or treat downtown tomorrow and then eat and trick/treat in the neighborhood. So for today here are some random shots from this month....

I gave Rubye Ann a "biter biscuit" the other day. She looked at it.....trying to figure out what it was..
Side note: At the last minute yesterday I found out the cliinc had flu shots so I took all three to get them. Oh, the drama. Oh, the trauma. The two boys screamed and cried, but that baby just smiled.

Ok, so between the three families pictured here we have a total of 8 children. I'm not counting the two babies. So, 8 kiddos. How many do you see? Yep. THREE. Those other stinkin' kids went to the front yard to run around and play while we were up to our elbows in slimy pupmkin guts. They'd come back every so often to check on our progress. But each family had one child representative who really wanted to help.

So I decided to see how Rubye Ann would do with some "big girl" snacks. They're just little puffed rice shapes. These were flavored peach, although when I tasted them, they tasted like air. Absolutley no peach flavor to speak of....
She was all about it....
"Oh, what's that? Gimmie, gimmie.."

It finally ended up in its intended destination...
and she proceeded to roll it around in her mouth for a bit...

Then pick out the clothes...(btw, that's just ONE wall of outfits. There were several more walls like this.)
I know the names are quite orginial for a bear (Ted and Teddy) but they both wanted Teddy as the name and Rubye Ann had decided she had had enough and had begun to voice her displeasure at the situation. LOUDLY.. SO I picked the names and put them in the computer for the birth certificate...yes you read that right...birth certificate. HA HA Rubye Ann's bear has a very orginial name as well....hers is named..Rubye. Her bear will be up on Monday, you know how this crazy website only lets me do four pics at a time.....have a great weekend!
