Hey Internets!!! We are leaving today to go back to Petit Jean!! Can you believe my mommy let my brothers get out of school??? Well, she did make sure they finished all the work they'd miss before we left!! See you next week!!!
Oh yeah, here's some outtakes from our picture session at the pumpkin patch...someone made a comment on Mommy's facebook page about being able to get all 3 kids to smile and cooperate. Well, I can tell you this, my brothers and I didn't make it all that easy for her. Take a look....Thursday, October 15, 2009
We have had a bit of bad weather lately. When I say lately, I'm talkin' almost everyday since..well, I can't even remember since when.
Anyway, today was the same. Awful thunderstorm rolled in this morning. Jamie called me while I was at Wal-Mart and told me to go home it was so bad. Well, I got about as far as our church. I had to take RA there for MDO anyway, so I just went there.
It was mid-morning and it looked more like evening it was so dark. I took RA in and then I hung around up there for about 20 minutes waiting for it to clear up a bit.
The rain was coming down in sheets and it was thundering constantly. When I got home I checked on the dogs, because Mocha doesn't not like thunder.
I peeked into their room and saw her in her "hiding spot".

Silly dog. I had another chocolate lab a long time ago, "Dixie". She hated storms too. She would always run and hide under the bed. Evidently, Mocha is the same way. Mocha doesn't have a bed to hide under, but she does have a table!!! I've said many times since we got Mocha that she channels Dixie. Once or twice I've even called her Dixie!!

Well, it's that time again...picture session at the pumpkin patch!!
RA and I went this morning before the place opened so we had the whole patch to ourselves. I only have two of her on the blog, trust me when I say that I took WAY more than two pics..

So, here is the pic I was trying to get. Do you realize how hard it is to get three kids to all smile at the same time, look at the camera at the same time, and stay in place? Whew, I'm worn out thinking about it!!
I must of snapped a BAZILLION pics before I got this one...
I'll have to do a separate post of all the "bad" pics...or, well, several posts actually. There were quite a lot of those......

Here's some more pics from this summer. Everyone piled up for some morning cartoons after breakfast...
That blanket she is under was mine when I was a wee lass. It has Raggedy Ann and Andy on it... I loved that thing...so does she!!

Here she is playing with her brother's hot wheels. She lines them up nice and straight. Do they make girl hot wheels??
This is a structure that Davis built one afternoon after Cooper had started back to school. Look closely, he has it all organized. On the left side and the top is a place to park a combine, then over to the right is the platform for the motorcycles. Down in front of the motorcycles are the racecars, or as he calls them "hot rods" and then finally in the bottom left corner are the monster trucks...
I would have to say, out of all the toys we have and have had, these blocks have remained the favorite. I think we are going on 3 or 4 years with these. Sister has been building things lately too..I'll have to get a pic of one of her structures soon!

Look at this face......
People I don't even know will come up to me and comment on how cute she is. I always thank them for the compliment, but then my standard reply is, "Don't let the cuteness fool you!" The face you are looking at is a very good disguise....this is not just the face of a sweet, cute, baby girl. It is also the face of the bully of the one year old class at Mother's Day Out. I kid you NOT!!!! She has been in MDO for four weeks and for 3 of those 4 weeks, she has been in trouble for her behavior towards others. The second week she was there, she bit a little boy. The third week she was there, she shoved two little boys. And today, well, today she slapped a little girl on the arm and poked a little boy in the eye!! YIKES!!!
Lordy Mercy!!
Isn't this all backwards?? Aren't the little girls supposed to be sweet?? I'm telling you, this little girl has some attitude and ain't afraid to use it......
That's one tough little cookie right there.....
help!

I found some pictures from this summer that I haven't posted yet....
This was one of those days when it had been raining. By this time the rain had stopped, but it was too wet to play outside. The boys had been drawing pictures and had decided to go upstairs to play. Rubye Ann wandered into the kitchen and wanted to see what they had been up to. I heard her calling me over and over so I went to see what she was doing. This is how I found her..
Look at her face....she KNOWS she shouldn't be up there.... but she's still smilin'.. probably hoping a smile will keep her from getting in trouble. Well, let me tell you this......it worked. This was one of those days when it had been raining. By this time the rain had stopped, but it was too wet to play outside. A morning of dancing and laughing on the kitchenn table will wear a girl out...she has all her MUST haves with her...frog, babies, bear, pappi, green blanket.
The boys never HAD to have things like that when they slept...if one of these things is not in here when she goes down, it ain't pretty.....actually, I take that back. The babies have made their way downstairs for playtime and Curious George and a fluffy lamb have taken their place...for now...
