Old pics today. I forgot my camera at swim lessons yesterday. Big D started off as usual..."Swim lessons are yuck Mama. We have to stop doing this!"
By the middle of the lesson however, he began to loosen up a bit and he actually grinned. By the time it over he was swimming to Mrs. Pam and jumping off the side and going under to get the diving rings. And of course I didn't have the camera. We went to Mrs. Fran's after nap and he and I "practiced". I even got him to go off the board!!!!!!!!!
Hope today goes as smoothly, the weather is not looking all that great though. It needs to clear up, I don't want him to have a day off and slip back to old ways!! HA HA HA. I was so proud of him!

These two are from last week.

Well, week two of swim lessons begins today. It's gonna be a long week.......I hope Big D does better! Here's the crew ready for Sunday School yesterday. They all looked at the camera at the same time...WOW!! Who's that hiding back there?

Watermelon eating contest! Cooper won...I asked Davis a few minutes later where his watermelon was..he said,"I took it inside, my body didn't want anymore." ok. So I was thinking he put it in the kitchen...

NOPE!!!! The top of the chair will do just fine thank you very much! lol lol

Yesterday was quite the busy day at our house. We started bright and early "workin" with the "tractoes" in the dirt hole the beasts(Mocha and Dutch) have made for us. How convienent that it is RIGHT next to the back door! I had to be the bad guy and tear them away form this for swim lessons. Cooper did great. Poor Davis. I overheard him saying to Mrs. Pam.."Why are you doing this to me? Mama doesn't do this!" He is getting better though. Now you can actually understand what he is saying...

After the trauma of swim lessons, we came home to rest and got up and cut open a watermelon! It was quite juicy. Check out that sticky mouth!

YUM YUM!

The best part of the day? Definately had to be the last t-ball game. It was our last game and the boys got their trophies! Davis was espically pround as this was his first trophy! Cooper now has a whopping total of 5, yes 5 trophies!

I was able to get one smile out of Big D. It's good thing we're doing this for two weeks.

Cooper is working on back floating, right now it's more like sinking!

"Mommy, do I have to do that?"

Last night rubye Ann tasted her first bowl of rice cereal. She wasn't real sure about that spoon thing, but we made it through...

So, our first day of swim lessons. Davis was NOT impressed. "This is no fun!" Poor Mrs. Pam. He was way more reluctant than last year. Probably b/c a day earlier he jumped in Mrs. Fran's pool and forgot he didn't have his innertube on and he went straight down. Jamie pulled him out and said the look on his face was absolute fear. Thankfully I was inside feeding Rubye Ann and missed that. Mrs. Pam was proud that he even got in after that episode!

Here he is negoiating whether he is going to sit or stand to jump in. "But Mama lets me sit."

"CANNONBALL" Not really, but that's what Cooper says EVERYTIME he jumps off the board now. I don't think he even knows what a cannonball jump is!!!

He did great...of course this is his thrid year of swim lessons...

Here's Cooper playing with Mrs. Fran's new pool toy. It's called a sea scooter. we've been callling it the water rocket. You hold on to the handles and push the little buttons and it propells you through the water. You can point it down and it will take you under too. Cooper was having so much fun! Davis didn't want any part of it. We would ask if he wanted to try and he would say "No I'm too little."

Guess who is four months old today!!!! WOW! She has on some cute little baby bloomers here. Check out the last pic. MAN, that's a cute hiney!
