The orginial plan was for his party to be in the front yard like last year. But, it rained EVERY day the week before the party, and cardboard castles and wet grass don't go together very well. So, we were very lucky that our Family Life Center at church had not been rented out.

Big D turned 5 on Saturday...it just doesn't seem possible....
We had to do everything in reverse order...presents THEN birthday do-nut. He was way to excited to wait another minute..

After the tearing up of the doves, the boys got to go for a thrill ride on a combine! We had to drive out into the middle of a corn field to get to it.

A combine is quite loud, if you can't tell by these reactions.....
