He bolted back out the door..

entire house sidelined by the stomach virus...returning soon...ugh

Somebody in our house had a birthday last week. Not just any birthday mind you, it was a major milestone... the big 4-0!! You better believe I had a good time with this one.
A surprise party was deifnately in order...
and was he ever surprised!

The anticipation was killing them.....

They couldn't wait to run in to see this..

Santa had delivered! Drums for D., karaoke machine for C., and RA got her baby bathtub/baby sink!

Time to unload the stockings....

After the concert, it was time for jammies and to put out treats for Santa. If you remember the video I posted before Christmas, we also put a little extra something for Santa. RA's pappi.

She was such a big girl, she put it right down without a blink.
She was allowed to go to bed that night with ONE pappi, but that Santa would take that one too.

When I told her it was time for bed, she looked over at her pappi and gave it a little goodbye pat.
Then, she cried.
