We love to play with blocks at our house. We have had the same set of blocks since C. was 3 and D. was 1. We have added more thru the years and now, we have quite the extensive collection. These kids amaze me with their building skill....
Here's someting that was constructed just recently...
This was back in the day when we only had this one set. C and D worked very hard to use every single block to create this...

This was D. just beore he turned two....
He has always had the same love for blocks that C. has.

Here's our newest builder..
It shouldn't surprize me that she made this should it?

Coop had a great soccer season! These pics are from the game just before the last one. He owned that ball....

His big thing this go around was bouncing the ball off his head. He did it every chance he got. I tried hard to get a picutre. I was always clicking too early or too late. This shot is the best I coud get...I snapped too early, but you can tell what he's planning to do.

Look at that boy run!! Run Forrest Run!

Like I said, he owned that ball!!

We had two soccer games last Saturday morning. The boys aren't on the same team due to age difference and it isn't as easy as it used to be. We either have two games which are back to back so we are out there for two hours or, we have one game then an hour break and go back for the other. Having the break between them is way worse to me....
Anyway, D. had his game first. He is doing a great job this season. He's really getting in there and showin' his stuff...

It can get really hot sitting on the bench, and lonely..

Baby on the field, baby on the field...

Coop's hunt was by far the most entertaining. This was his first year to go to the "big field" where the "big kids" hunt. I guess this puts him into the big kid category now...not too sure I like that. Anyway, they all cram themselves against the cattle gate as seen here...

They wait VERY PATIENTLY as all kids do while waiting for their egg hunt to begin. Then, the gate keeper slowly opens the gate, then gets out of the way for fear of his life as seen here...

Then. it. is. absolute. chaos.

Pandelerium, mayhem...what ever you want to call it! My boy is somewhere out there amongst the other crazed sugar filled egg hunters!! LOVE IT!!!!

Waiting for the signal....

...and he's off!

Get it D!!

He was determined to get this egg....its hard to see, but it's purple and hidden in the grape vines.... lots of precious seconds ticked by while he worked on getting this one! He eventually went around to the other side and achieved his goal.

WOW. What a difference a year makes! This was RA last year at the egg hunt. She stood there and screamed. When she wanted an egg, she would stop screaming momentarily to point to it, so I would get it for her!

This year, it was a whole different ballgame. She took off and got as many eggs as she could get her hands on!!

Jackpot!

She was carefully inspecting each egg individually and then lining them up....'atta girl!!

Well, let me jump away from our spring break activities to highlight our annual church's egg hunt. It's always on Good Friday and the kids look forward to it every year! I'll give each kid a separate post on the hunt, but for now here are a few....
