I still can't believe it...my "baby" is seven!!!
His party was this past Saturday, which also happened to be his actual birthday!!
He requested a USA theme. Easy enough!!

Our very generous neighbor provided the entertainment.....her pool!

We are leaving today for Branson and Silver Dollar City. We will be gone all week. I'm sure you all will go into withdrawls, but stay strong. It's only a week, and when we get back, there will be sooooooooo much blog material. I still have tons of b-day pics and then all the ones form our trip. So, don't despair. Just go back to the very beginning of the blog and read. It should be enough to keep you satisified!!!

Going back in time a little bit.. Earlier this month I took the kids to a family fun center called....

They had the best time playing skeeball and a basketball version of skeeball...

Cooper even attempted to climb a rock wall. Didn't go so well. That's as far as he got. Davis just plain said "No." That's my boy..


Go cart track outside. There were a few things for Curly Top as well. I 'll post those tomorrow. We are in party mode around here. Cooper turns 7 on Saturday. WOW.

Curly Top saw her brothers were playing in the inflatable rings and she wanted to be part of the action. So what does she do? Goes into the toy closet and drags out the kiddie cruiser, which is funny to me because she HATES to be in it for more than, like, 30 seconds!!

So far, so good. No signs of meltdown yet...

Uh-oh...is that a frown I see? Are we getting close to meltdown?

We've been doing alot of popsicile eatin' and swimmin' this summer. So, one day last week I decided to document one of our outings to our neighbor's pool.
We begin with popsicile eatin'..

Davis is serious when it comes to eating ice cream. I don't blame him...this is the first time in his entire life that he is able to eat real ice cream....

So, the thing to do on the Fourth besides fireworks? Go to the lake of course!! Our brother-in-law, Sheriff, scored this awesome new party barge not to long ago. We were invited to go ride with them, so we outiftted everyone in a life jacket and set off.

Rubye Ann was less than fond of hers.....but she got over it. Eventually.

Let's re-visit the July 4th fireworks show, shall we?
I got everyone gussied up in their red, white and blue and took them out in the blazin' heat for a quick pic. Seriously, it was quick. See how the kids are not centered? That really bugs me, but is was soooooo hot that at the time, I was tryin' to hurry so we could get back to the cool inside!!!

See how hot they are? Look at the red faces!! I'm telling you, it was H-O-T!!!!

Miss Priss stayed in the cool of the nursery until the fireworks started.
It is soooooooooooooooooo not fun to hold a fussy, hot baby when you yourself are fussy and hot and the temperature is around 102...so for all of our sakes...Little Miss got to play in the cool with the other babies!!

I am determined to learn how to take a decent shot of fireworks. I played around with camera settings and got a few cool ones, but not great. Guess I need to take a photography class. If anyone has any pointers, I would love to hear them!!

All good things must come to an end...and the mud bath had to stop at some point...the mud was turning into quicksand!! I had a bit of trouble getting RA out..

Of course we had to go back to the house and wash clothes and take baths. Rubye Ann sat quietly taking in the entertainment while the clothes washed and dried.
