Jump Zone

That was the name of the place we went to on Thursday.
Tons of fun.
Tired kids when we left!!!

Cooper going down the Titantic. See who's right behind him?

Big D going down the biggest slide there. He was going way too fast to get a clear shot!!

I didn't want Rubye Ann to miss out.. so I took her down the Titantic. I think she liked it. I mean, she didn't cry.

We are back. We had a fun-filled time that was non-stop!!
Cooper and Davis are teaching Rubye Ann how to play hide-n-seek. This is not how the picture was supposed to look. When I grabbed my camera, the cabinet door was hiding all of her except her feet....as soon as she saw me get the camera, she flung the door and giggled!!

Before we left, C & D needed haircuts.
These are their "summer cuts". Just kiddin'!! Our hairdresser put some gel in for fun!!!

She didn't get a haircut. She hasn't had one yet. By the time C & D were her age, they had had at least two!!

Went digging for pics tonight. I don't have any new picture stories to share, so thought I would grab a few from past stories that never made the first cut, so to speak.
This was not from a story. Cooper was practicing his reading out loud and found a very willing listener...

This was from our trip to Monroe back in April.

It's way more fun to play with the toys IN the toy bucket...

Biker Babe...

The other night I got to thinkin' (and we know what that means..) Once I get an idea in my head, I can't let go until I see it through. Well, like I said, I got to thinkin' and thought about the baby seat for my bicycle. I knew where it was all I had to do was get in the attic and retrieve it.
It was late, really late when I thought about it. So, I just decided to take it on the next morning. Well, I actually forgot about it until I was loading the kids in the car for our daily errands, which by the way, they absoutely LOVE to do....*ahem*. Anyway, told the kids to wait for me downstairs. I ran up to the attic and got the seat. Then I loaded up everyone, the baby seat AND my bicycle into the Sweetness. (our minivan) Now that could probably be a blog post all by itself...I'm sure it was reminiscent of me trying to pick up a certain chocolate lab and shove him in... I twisted that bike all kids of ways until I finally got it wedged inside. Poor Big D had to ride with his feet on top of the headrest of the seat in front of him....lol . We dropped off the bike at our local bike shop so they could attach the seat. We then took off Wal-Mart to purchase one of these:
HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!?!

Jamie brought the bike home after work and we wasted no time in heading out for a ride... We had orginially got the seat for Davis when he was a baby so I could ride with Cooper. Davis hated being put in that seat and hated the helment even more. He liked riding, but hated all the stuff before.... Rubye Ann just plopped down in the seat and we took off. She loved it!!

They are looking at Cooper's end of season baseball party.....
The grass is definately greener on the other side....espically when there are cupcakes and kool-aid.

Cooper getting his congratulatory dap from Mr. J after the game for his homerun...

Last Saturday while Jamie and I worked outside in the sweltering heat, the boys were slippin' and slidin'....

Think I might join them next time....I can remember when these beauties first came out. I was probably around Cooper's age. It was called the "Wet Banana". A long piece of yellow plastic with a plastic banana sprinkler that hooked up to the hose. The "slip-n-slide" has not really changed all that much. Just a bit fancier now....I suddenly feel old.....

Just call him "Triple D"...

Big D deserves his shine in the spolight too...oh that boy!!!
He had his last T-ball game last Friday night.
He was soooo proud to get his team trophy.
I told all about Cooper and his homerun in the last post. Well. I didn't realize that Big D had whacked one of his own. It wasn't a "homerun" but it was a triple and according to Jamie, a triple is about as good as you can hit in T-ball, AND... he hit a ball that was pitched to him instead of hitting it off the stand!!! The reason I never saw it? I was having to settle disputes such as this:

After the game "Triple D"'s team had a pizza party and got their trophies. Not sure which part he liked the best..the pizza or the trophy!!

I KNOW which part she liked the best.....

...the pizza. See that piece she has? She literally grabbed it from Cooper's plate!! You can see Cooper in the background alerting me to the situation at hand....

I am so proud of BOTH my little ball players!! I hope they continue to enjoy baseball...

Coop "Homerun" Walsworth

That title says it all...
Tonight was the first game in the Pee Wee tournament.
Sadly, we lost and will not advance, BUT, Cooper Man whacked that ball and got himself a H-O-M-E-R-U-N!
Technically it was an "in the park" homer, but a homer nonetheless!!!
Here's our team, Riley, Co. Cooper is next to number 11. He may be little, but he packs a big punch!!

Here is "Homerun" Coop getting his team trophy. Coach Shannon said he was "Most Improved" batter. I'll say.

So proud!!

After the game, Coach Shannon gave Cooper his homerun ball..
We are so proud of him!!

What a way to end the season...a homerun in the last game.....gotta love that!!!

Treat time!!

This has become a favorite daily ritual at our house lately. Every day for about two weeks Jamie has been letting the boys feed Mocha and Dutch their treats when he got home from work. Well, one afternoon about a week ago he asked the boys if they were ready to "give the dogs their treats" and all of a sudden Rubye Ann squealed, clapped her hands and took off to get the bones. Aparently she had been paying very close attention to the proper procedure and was ready. After Jamie saw her jump into action he told me about it and of course we HAD to document it for all to enjoy!! Our favorite things to look for are 1. The way she bops her head side to side walking in the hallway. 2. The way she has to sit down to step down out of our room and of course, 3. The constant verbal commentary she gives throughout the video. ENJOY!!!

Sorry about the long break between posts...as you may know, we are in full swing of VBS this week. When I went to pick Cooper up today he greeted me with a HUGE smile. He made sure I could see this:
Yes, that's right he has lost another tooth. He told me today that now his "window" is tall!!! LOL
Here's our daredevil at Cooper's baseball game tonight...
Standing in a folding chair and loving every minute of it....

Last but not least, Big D enjoying breakfast...
I will do better at posting next week.....I hope!! Lol

Just in case you were wondering...yes, she still loves dirt!!!
Today after lunch the boys went outside to play. Well, sometimes our back door doesn't catch when it closes. This was one of those times. The door was open just enough that a certain little girl was able to stick her hand through and open it further to allow her to scoot on out to be with her mostest favoritest people ever....She wasted no time in plopping herself right down in that dirt.

A quick moment of brotherly love....

The kids eating watermelon on Memorial Day. I believe Rubye Ann is offering to share hers with you...Davis picked out his clothes that day..lol
Mr. Independent.....I can't IMAGINE where he gets it from...

After stuffing himself silly with watermelon, Cooper decided to take it easy with a book in the fort.... Mocha joined him...
For those of you wondering...Mocha and Dutch do know how to climb up into the fort and then slide down the slide to get out. VERY FUNNY STUFF..
We have swim lessons this week and then VBS next week..posts will be challenging to fit in..keep checking though!!
