Yeaterday after supper we all went to Mrs. Fran's house to swim. We had a blast! Jamie was doing tricks of the board. I had to talk him into this. He kept asking why I was making him do a flip. I said it will look good on the blog. He just looked me. But I was right wasn't I? Check this out...

The Leap Of Faith

Gotta wear the goggles always. Our head doesn't go under, but our eyes MIGHT get splashed! I totally understand. I don't like my eyes to get splashed either, because of contacts. What's his excuse? Being three maybe?

I put Rubye Ann in one of her suits, hoping she would want to join us. She decided a nap was more her speed for the evening!
Swim lessons start next week, should have some good pics from that. Mrs. Fran had a cool new pool toy that we all played with, I'll post those tomorrow!

This pic shows better where Cooper and Davis were while she was in her saucer. It got started when I put her in there and Cooper announced "I'm bored!" I told him I could put his school clothes on him and take him to school (school is still going on for half days )...he responded with...."I think I'll just sit here and watch Rubye Ann." Of course Davis chimes in "me too"!

Man, could those eyes get ANY bigger?!?!?

Check out those thighs!! Or as Cooper calls them.."fighs"..LOL LOL

Summer has begun! We have not gotten our summer schedule ironed out yet...it all depends on Miss
Queenie...
Cooper and Davis were sitting in front of her singing too her and she was laughing sooo hard! My summer posts will be more random now that school is out, so be sure to keep checking during the day. They will also be shorter..it's hard to type and be creative when somebody wants something all the time..lol lol... gotta go..here come the troops......

PRE-K Graduation!!

Well, Cooper is now a graduate..of Pre-K that is!! It was a great day. Here he is with some of his class reciting the Pledge.

He has just gotten his diploma!
He's too cool!

Afterwards they got to play on a big waterslide!

Davis went down too. But only after one of the teachers stepped in to control the mayhem that was ensuing at the top of slide.
Imagine....40 children trying to go down this thing...
He went down this one time. He went up again, but decided against going.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I was informed that an individual in this household was feeling like he was misrepresented. The editor has recently incorrectly insuiated that said individual makes rash and impulsive buying decisions. That is SO SO SO SO not the case. ( If you only knew the reaserach that is involved with purchasing large items!) lol lol. THe lawnmower and computer had been topics of discussion for QUITE sometime. The way it was presented just made the story funnier.
Ok now that that is over with......today is Cooepr's Pre-K graduation. I will have some more pics later.

Well, first of all...Happy Memorial Day! Now, today's pics are definately fillers! I have some new pics ready to load to the computer but.....
the computer guru announced yesterday that we needed a new computer and there was bound to be some great Memorial Day sales going on. So, after much and I mean MUCH research, he goes to get us one.
I haven't learned all the ropes yet. So I'm not sure how to load pics yet.
Anyway, this one of Rubye Ann is cute. I was trying to see if I liked the headband look on her. I'm not all that good at putting them on. The first time I did it, I had her looking like Olivia Newton John circa 1980 !

Here is Davis just waking up form a nap. I put Rubye ann next to him in hopes he would wake up in a fairly good mood..he did!

Cooper is such a ham!
Until tomorrow...I've got some computer lessons today!

Rubye Ann decided it was time to eat the minute we walked into the zoo. Thankfully they have a playground just inside the entrance....here we are trying to get the ever elusive burp...

Handsome fella!

Here we are at the amusement park. Remember those big yellow slides at the state fair where you would sit on a burlap bag and go zippping down? Well they had one and it was a big hit! Poor Davis was sandwiched between Cooper and Jamie. Which is probably just how he liked it!

Look at those faces! Can you see Davis' hands holding Cooper's shoulders.? I'm glad I had Rubye Ann as an excuse to not have to go down that thing...I'm such a chicken! They went down two times in a row. Then one last time on the way out!

They rode this one twice, or maybe it was three times in a row!

Now this is what I'm talking about! The Scrambler! My all time favorite! However, after two rides back to back I was thinking that maybe it wasn't so great afterall. Getting older really creeps up on you and slaps you in the face. I used to could ride this thing all day. After that first sharp turn, my tummy was doing flip flops and my head was spinning. Cooper wanted to go a third time but I had to say no. I was scared I would end up like Daddy (Bubba) did when he rode the Tilt-A-Whirl with me when I was little....eww. So that's it for our New Orleans trip! We had so much fun. There are more pics that didn't make the initial cut to be on the blog, but I'll post them as fillers later when I run out of stuff...

New Orleans cuisine at its finest.......McDonalds. YUCK!! Actually, it wasn't bad. I can say that it was the cleanest Mickey D's I've been in....

While on this trip Cooper and Davis discovered the wonderful world of "people watching". What a great place to discover that.....

Something we had not planned on doing but will do again in the future was City Park. We had no idea that there was a "Storyland" play land and an amusement park tucked inside! City Park was hit pretty hard by Katrina and the flood, but you could see evidence all around that the city was trying to get it back. Cooper and Davis loved Storyland. Here they are on Captain Hook's pirate ship. You know this was a big hit since we have such avid Peter Pan fans. Peter and Hook are in the crow's nest .

Alice in Wonderland. You can Davis's hand in the window to the right. He didn't have time to pose for YET ANOTHER picture...there was major playing to be done!

On Friday we visited some friends and boiled crawfish for lunch. They are looking at the crawfish in the bucket..

Nothing like playing with your lunch before you eat it! Cooper eats a few crawfish but not alot...Davis won't have anyting to do with them!

THe street cars on St. Charles are finally up and running.

After we got off the stret car we were heading to find some supper. We started hearing music..actually we heard "When the Saints Go Marching In" (imagine hearing that in NO!!) As we kept walking the music kept getting louder until we realized a small parade was coming... our first thought was that it was a NO funeral. We were glad to see it was a wedding procession. Let me tell you, it was something! Full brass band leading, wedding party, tons of guests. all dancing and having fun! Chaning subjects....Rubye Ann had her 3 month protraits last week. THey are online if you want to see them. Go to www.hawkinsphoto.com click on photos online. in the event box type walsworth3 the password is baby. they will only be up for ten days...go take a look...

After the IMax it was Rubye Ann's dinner time, nothing like dining al fresco.....(doesn't that mean eating outside...or am I acting like I know what I'm talking about and I really don't?)

After she finished eating, it was time for a carriage ride. I asked Jamie to get a shot of HER, but somehow I got included in this one...in my mind I was thinking he was going to zoom in on her.... oh well.

Cooper and Davis sat like this for the whole ride. I was terrified Cooper was going to fall off..

Another nice stranger snapped this one for us. Cool sunset. Rubye Ann was a tad out of sorts in this pic. I don't think she appreciated being plucked from her stoller to be a part of the family photo op!
