Today was a big day for a certain little girl in our house.....FIRST HAIRCUT!! I thought it would be funny to show how her bubbies acted for their first cuts before I show how she did. The pics of the boys totally show their personalities...
Here's Cooper in June 2003, he was 11 months old. Yes, 11 months..that boy came out with a head FULL. He did not really enjoy his first cut all that much, he really didn't understand what was going on so he whimpered his way through and batted Mrs. Jill's hand away constantly.
We walked away with just a few tears and was a bit clingy afterwards.

Here's Davis in July 2006. He was 22 months old. This pic says it all. That look is TOTALLY my Big D!! He didn't like it from the minute his bottom touched the chair til the minute I picked him up. He wouldn't even let Mrs. Jill put the cape on him. That boy cried, wiggled, squirmed, he did it all! To this day, before he sits in her chair, he makes sure she knows "no blower Mrs. Jill!" We walked away with many tears and hanging on to me for dear life....

Now, here's Little Miss RA. December 2009. 22 months. Same age as Davis was...

NOT. ONE. TEAR. No squriming, no wiggling, no whimpering, nothing, just a little girl watching Mrs. Jill cut her hair. We walked away with a smile and a wave bye-bye! Now, before you all start in on how "perfect" she is...let me tell you what happened 15 minutes later at the Dr.'s office....She threw a helacious fit when I would not open the exam room door for her to go out in the hallway...then kept throwing it while the Dr. was trying to examine her....I'm sure that whole office was glad to see us go!!!

Ok, back to the farm. Mutual Of Omaha look out...we have an eagle sighting. In fact, we have two eagles. They've actually been around a few years and I was able to get a few shots.

Not bad for an amateaur, huh? I hear my phone ringing now...no doubt it's National Geographic....

I'm going to post Davis' Christmas party tomorrow. I wanted to show you this first. Now, look at this picture. Don't scroll down yet...is she grabbing for the bowl or putting it on the counter?
Ok, scroll down now..

She was putting it on the counter!! Along with a few others. Where is she getting them you ask?

From the dishwasher of course!!!!!!!!!

She loves to help me put the dishes away!!! She can hear me open it up and she will come running into the kitchen squealing with her arms out in front of her. She is conditioned, "Pavloved" if you will, the the creak of the dishwasher being opened!!

So, let's begin the Christmas posts with parties from school shall we? Cooper and Davis both had parties at 8:15 so I was going back and forth between the two hoping not to miss too much at either...I was worn out when we went home because not only was I back and forth between two separate buildings, I was doing it with 24 extra pounds sitting on my hip!!
Miss RA was very at home in Coop's class. She just climbed up in his chair and took over....

Then of course it was time to eat. The food consisted mainly of breakfast items, do-nuts, muffins, fruit, pigs in blankets and juice.
Cooper certainly enjoyed his fruit kabob and RA loved the sausage wraps, although she unwrapped the roll and ate the sausage....she's so funny!

Then all of a sudden, we began hearing a strange sound. Literally every kid stopped dead in their tracks when they heard it. Eyes got big and mouths dropped open..they wanted to believe it was him, but they weren't sure. Then, when they heard those three little words, they all knew...

HO HO HO, Santa Claus had come to town....

Alright, I have returned. Christmas was, well, fast. It was great, but just flew by. I feel like I just put all this stuff around the house out and now I'm putting it all back up....
A while back in one of the first posts I ever did, I made a comment about life with three. I mentioned something about not feeling like I was in a circus, that I would "re-visit that later". Well, its later.....I LIVE IN A CIRCUS!!!!!! When I first made that comment I had a newborn who pretty much did nothing. Now I have a very spirited, opinionated, picky, sweet, adorable, tom-boyish toddler who thinks she can do everything her two brothers do. She amazes me with all that she does at the ripe old age of 23 months!! I have a ton of pictures from Christmas to share, but before I do I have some from Thanksgiving that need to be shared first. We went to Cotton Plant the day after Turkey Day. Jamie went duck hunting and the kids played and played. I snapped this one while we were waiting for Jamie and Daddy to get back from the morning hunt. She had just spotted the truck pulling in. Moose was there with us. He loves when we come.

We took an afternoon boat ride.

The highlight of the boat ride...we got high-centered on a beaver dam. Here's Daddy puching us off. Fun times.

Sweet boys...I see braces in their futures!!
