Guess who's coming to our house tonight???????

Yep. The TOOTH FAIRY!!!!!! Cooper lost his front tooth today. This has been A LONG TIME COMING. This tooth has been loose since September when he had a collision with another kid on the church playground. Well, the past two weeks he has really been working on it. Each day he would come home from school with it a bit looser than the day before. Today, this is what it looked like:
Somehow during the school day, that tooth got turned sideways and backward. I told him it had to come out. He freaked out. I tried to wiggle it and it wouldn't move. So, I told him we were gonna let his dentist try to get it out. He freaked out again. Then our wonderful neighbor took care of the situation. I kept saying Mr. Jake was gonna "take a look" Jake kept saying "I'm a good tooth puller!" I wish I had this on video. Right here Cooper is saying "NOO NOO DON'T PULL IT...."

Literally seconds later, the tooth was out. Cooper was in mid- freakout mode and just stopped and stared. I tried to get a picture but it is a bit blurry due to the fact this was the heat of the moment....

Our church does an egg hunt every year for the kids. So, here are some shots from that.

Remember several posts back when I mentioned Cooper's friend who broke his leg? Well, he was still on his "crunches" ( as the boys call them) at the hunt so he didn't get to do too much. Do you know that Cooper and Davis both, sat around with him instead of playing games and jumping on the bouncers? I thought that was sweet.

Mmmmmm......cookie...

First things first: The latest on the Walsworth Infirmary. Davis wakes up this morning with what appeared to be pink eye. Got some drops. Much better. Rubye Ann still on breathing treatments. Down to 2 a day. Cooper? So far so good....knock on wood. Now, let's play catch up. Here is the condensed version of each kiddos school egg hunt. Here is Davis leading the pack...

Rubye Ann really enjoyed hers. She did have a slight advantage afterall....she's the only one in her class who is walking. So she racked up!!

At Cooper's hunt, each child had 13 eggs with their names on them. So they had to go around and read all the eggs looking for theirs. Pretty smart I thought. No fights about who got more than who. (Or is that whom?)

Got eggs?

Here we go again....

Well. After yet ANOTHER long night with doses on Motrin and Tylenol, RA woke up fever free, but instead of a sweet little girl cooing at me when I went to get her out of bed, I was met with THE COUGH. Took a quick trip to the clinic..diagnosis: croup.
Got a shot of decadron and some breathing treatments and went home. We will go back in the morning for a re-check.
You know, I think I've just about had my fill of sickness around here..
Moving on. Here's some more shots from the Jungle Gym. This was when I put RA in the big bouncer with Cooper. She loved it.

I'm not feeling the least bit funny or creative tonight. So, that's it. I'm tired.

Well. Things around here today were better and they were the same as yesterday.
D had a nice nap and was happy, for the most part, until his dirt tack got messed up....RA on the other hand, well, she wasn't too happy. She ran a bit of fever mid-morning and did a lot of coughing. I mean A LOT. After her nap, which was interrupted quite a bit by coughing, her fever was gone.

She continued her cough and was a bit fussy during the afternoon, but no fever. When she went to bed I checked her temperature again and it was 101. So. There ya go. Got a dose of Motrin and we'll see what happens. Fun times. Wanna come to our house and play? Nah. Probably not.

Today was a loooooooooooooooong one.
When a certain someone gets her schedule for this messed up...

this is the result...

and when the mommy doesn't respond quick enough, this happens...
It all started EARLY this morning. Rubye Ann was awake at about 6:30. WAY earlier than normal. Due to this happening, she fell asleep while running errands. I let her snooze about 15 or 20 minutes becasue I had lunch duty at Cooper's school today. I was thinking that a quick cat nap would help since she would get down late for her nap. WRONG-O!!!!! When we got back from lunch duty...she went down..but for only about one hour. She usually sleeps 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. So, when she got up, she didn't want to be up, but she didn't want to be in bed either. She was not a happy little camper. The above picture is what I saw and HEARD off and on (mostly on!!!) from when she woke up at 1:30 til when she went down at 7:30. The only time she wasn't like that was when she was an attachment to my hip!!!! Whew.............

Another small person in this house didn't get a great nap today either....and was a bit, let's say, displeased with, oh, EVERYTHING!!!!!! The look you see here would be followed with a foot stomp and a mumbled group of words that was impossible to decipher!!!

The first born was exhausted. Here's his story....Around midnight I heard him crying. I laid there a minute giving him a minute or two to settle down on his own. Then all of a sudden he came out of our bathroom or closet running and crying. Evidently, he had had a bad dream and had walked to our room and ended up in one of those places. When I heard him crying, I thought I was hearing him on the monitor. So when he came running out and crying it scared me to death. I jumped out of bed after him. He ran through the house crying back to Davis's room. When I got to him he screamed and then jumped into my arms. I carried him back to our room and let him lay down with me. Jamie went to lay down with Davis b/c all the commotion woke him up too. It was scary. His little heart was pounding. At breakfast I asked if he remembered what happened and he didn't. Guess he inherited his Daddy's sleepwalking gene....

Like I said...loooooooooog day around here. Tomorrow will be better.

I definately have a daredevil on my hands. When Davis was her age, I couldn't get him on this rope for ladder for all the Skittles in the world. He calls her name ONE TIME and up she goes....
She only went halfway up and decided to put it in reverse and came down...thank goodness!! If she had gone all the way up, the only other way down was the slide. I can just see me having to go up after her....
I told the boys to go down the slide on thier tummies and I would get a picture of them....

Cooper had a couple of red elbows when he got to the bottom so he decided to slide the traditional way next time.....

Look at Little Miss Nosy...gotta check it all out....

After we filled our bellies at I-HOP, we headed to The Jungle Gym. This is how Rubye Ann spent the first 30 minutes. We were the only people there, so I didn't mind putting her on this mat to nap!!

As Rubye Ann napped...Cooper flipped on the big bouncer.

She woke up ready to go...and bailed off into the ball pit with her bruders....

She loved every minute..

I have sooooooooo many more pictures of this day to share. Then I have ALL the ones from the several egg hunts we went on, THEN I still have Easter. My goodness. I think I need to give the camera a rest!! Nah. I just hope you don't mind seeing Easter pics well into May!!

I-Hop is the BOMB!!!
(At least according to Cooper and Davis and I'm sure Rubye Ann too , if she could say the words..)
Our fun day in Monroe started with lunch at the ONLY place to eat.....These kids hogged down on some flapjacks, eggs, and bacon. Actually, Rubye Ann was the only one to put the eggs in her mouth. She spit them right out, but then put them right back in, spit them out, put them back in..you get the picture. So I can't say for sure if she really liked them, or just really liked playing with them!!

This one didn't even want to wait long enough for me to cut them before he dug in....this kid meant BUSINESS. Don't mess with this boy and his shortstack..

Once his was cut up, he flung that piece of bacon down and grabbed that fork and went to town...
Normally, when we go out to eat, ours is one of the loudest tables around as you can imagine. But when we go to I-Hop, once the pancakes get there, our table is probably one of the quietest!! We usually have to force D to eat. Not here. I wonder if there is a way to sneak veggies and meat into pancake bater so that he wouldn't notice?

Well. I tried to write this post three different times last night. The first two times I deleted it was due to the fact I kept changing my mind on the pictures I wanted. The third time was because we had to leave the house and go to a neightbor's. We were under a tornado warning and it was coming our way. This was around 11:30 folks. Had to get kids up and load up. Scary. As you might can tell, everyting ended up fine as I am able to write my post this morning. So, here's my post from last night:

Our beloved Frogger is back. Frogger is our ugly toad who lives under our basketball goal. He stays with us during spring and summer and leaves us when the weather turns cold. The boys were so happy to see him. They love to play with (torture) him. I'm sure I'll have some pictures of Rubye Ann with Frogger soon. Afterall, he is member of our family. No matter how ugly and disgusting he is...

When RA climbed on the gator Davis was overjoyed. He immediately jumped into he driver seat. I barely got the seatbelt fastened around her before he took off. You can see she's not too sure about this.

Cooper joined in too. As well as Frogger. He is nestled in Cooper's lap. There's a sticker close to his right hand that says: WARNING!! NO RIDERS IN THE DUMPBED!! Hmm...ooops.

I think she liked it....she held on tight. Cooper made sure Frogger was protected in case of an emergency!!
