Blocks are way cool..

Well. I am back. Been down a couple of weeks. Had surgery. As RA says, " I fine". While I was down, both sweet boys started school.
Thing 1 started on the day of my surgery, so this pic was actually taken the evening before..I made that poor boy put on his entire uniform right down to his shoes, then grab his EMPTY lunchbox and backpack and pose as if it were the first day!! He did it.
With a smile!!

Thing 2 started a week later, I was home by now, so this actually was the morning of his first day!! Look how proud he is..
His lunch box was NOT empty, btw.

How did they get so stinkin' big???

A lazy summer afternoon was interrupted with an all out sword fight. Sister was very content on the floor having herself a teaparty while her baby slept...
When all of a sudden Thing 1 and 2 come running in with foam swords. She took one look and jumped up running off. She returned a few moments later with her own sword and the battle began...

This is what I have been doing for the past month....

The highlight for all the kids every night was the pool!! Yes..they are at the top of some stairs. The pool at our hotel was on the roof!!

After eating supper, we decided our evening would not be complete without a carriage tour of the Quarter. Please meet the best four legged tour guides ever...Mollie and Covergirl.

We took a little jaunt to the "Big Easy" with some friends this weekend. Had a great time...a few little "snags" here and there...but what's a trip without one, or two?
