here are the pics that go with yesterday's post.....

Spring Break....I have to say this year it has been..well, in a word..cold. The temp has barely gotten in the 60's and has been mostly overcast and raining too...blah. Last week before school was out in was warm and sunny...and now the weather has gone south...typical! OK, pity party is over.... We mananged to hit the Zoo yesterday with some of our favoritest peeps....

I remember when all these guys were no taller than the brick wall they are standing on.. I was proud for our little zoo...trying real hard to stay afloat. The boat ride was closed this time because they are finally able to afford repairs to the train. I've never seent the train in operation, so I can't wait!! They even had a new animal... or at least new to us...I'll save that for later...

Somebody has been paying close attention..... I take my camera almost everytime we all go on a family field trip!

I hope she got a good shot of the bobcat....I'm not sure how good the zoom is on her lens.

10 years!

We had an action packed night at our house tonight! My "big boys" came to eat with us, then all four had a little 2 on 2 basketball game. Let me say this...it was INTENSE!
C. announced "big brothers against little brothers"....and it was ON!

Do any of you who read this blog find this picture as disturbing as I do?
I was walking past the windows in the den one morning after the boys left for school and I kind of got spooked..cuz a creepy baby doll was staring at me...

Upon closer inspection tonight as I was posting the above picture, I realized why it so creepy and disturbing to me. If you look closely at the baby's face...it strikes an uncanny resemblance to the creepy half babydoll/half robot from Toy Story. You know the one I'm talking about...the one Andy's neighbor Sid takes apart and puts robot legs on.
In the movie, that doll had one eye closed and one opened...

another superstructure..this one complete with pedestrians...

So so so so so glad that cats don't have opposable thumbs......
