Computer issues again! These were from Sunday....
Jamie put out some sod in the backyard to cover where the beasts..aka..Mocha and Dutch had worn the grass down to nothng. He hooked up the sprinkler and of course the boys wanted to run around in it. We kept telling them it was too cool for that but how can you reason with a 5 and 3 year old when it involves water and dirt in the backyard? Cooper soon began to understand what we were talking about....Davis took a little longer for it to sink in...when we saw blue lips and chattering teeth we brought them in
. It was fun while it lasted!

Well, we made it through our shots yesterday! Our girl weighs in at a whopping 9 lbs. 13 oz!!!!!!!!! Dr. Daher said, "What a little butterball!" YOU BET! She showed off her bandaids to Cooper and Davis who were a tad disappointed that they were regular size and not "baby band-aids." Cooper even said," They're the same size I use on my boo boo's." We've been saying lately that Rubye Ann is starting to look like Davis. I found this pic of Big D when he was about 2 months old. Funny how we have one of Rubye Ann in almost the exact same pose......anyway when I look at the two pictures, I can see a little of Davis. Only time will tell! I love the last picture....she was smiling! At the last second as I snapped the picture, something on the celing caught Davis' attention...like I said before taking a pic of three kids and getting all of them to look at the same thing at the same time is quite challenging. Let's just say, I'm glad we don't have to use rolls of film anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem solved.........it's nice to have a computer guru in the house. Who would've thought that rebooting would fix everything? Rubye Ann gets her cootie shots today. We're excited! I can't wait to see how much she weighs...15 or 20 lbs. at least!! HA HA! She knows who her big brothers are.....just look at her looking at them in these pics! CUTE!! Right after I snapped the one of her looking at Big D, she reached her arm up toward him...it was cute. I'll post that pic later. Gotta run....short on time since I had problems this morning....until tomorrow!

Cowboy up!

How do you like that? I actually put a title on this! Friday was Cowboy day at school. I rustled up some gear and we had us a rootin' tootin' cowkid. Complete with a MASSIVE cowboy buckle! LOL LOL He was so excited about going to his "radio" (rodeo) at school. THey made cute stick horses and had barrel races. Parents were not invited. Davis wanted to be a cowkid too and was so excited to put it all on that he didn't even take off is superman jammies! I found out later that evidently I was rather excited to make Cooper a cowboy too because when i picked him up that afternoon he unsnapped his jeans and said "Look Mama". I had put his jeans on OVER his pj bottoms! Well, what can I say.....we like to play dress up over here! LOL LOL

After the coolness of being a cowboy wore off, Davis and Rubye Ann and I played around upstairs. Rubye Ann was taking it easy on her boppy pillow and hanging out with Mr. Bunny while I caught Davis trying on her little hairbows! HYSTERICAL!!! I tried to catch him with one in but he was too quick. It's too hard to see but the one in this pic was green. It's barely peeking out around his pinky finger. I kept saying "Come on Davis put one in and let me take a picture." His reponse: "No." Imagine that.

Davis likes to get as close as he can, if he could get inside that pillow with her he would!

This was the first egg Davis picked up. He immediately opened it, yelled out "SKITTLES" and began to eat. He could have cared less about all the eggs behind him there for the taking...he wasn't going to let those skittles go to waste!

This was our last stop at the zoo. Big D decided he wanted to get a closer look. Before I knew it he had one leg completely over the chain and was about to head over to get more acquainted! I didn't realize what he was doing when I snapped this pic. That's how stealthy this kid is!

Cooper is getting a lesson in cleaning a fish. Davis was not impressed. He said "ewww, yuk" and hopped down to go and play on the John Deere lawnmower!
