You may not find this video as funny as Jamie and I do, but I've been dying to share it!! We literally laugh so hard every time we watch it. I'm talking the kind of laugh where you don't make a sound until you gasp for air.. There are so many things to listen and watch for...first, Davis gave us the first part of the title. Second, I do a little foreshadowing of things to come when Jamie tries to get me to feed the zebra. Third, the irony of Jamie warning Cooper about the zebra. And finally, the part that gives us the second half to the title. Turn the volume up a bit to hear Jamie call to the zebra. The part that I crack up every time on is when he whispers "poochie poochie poochie" I'm laughing now as I type that....

These, er, uh, not real sure what they are....but they were hilarious. They'd just stand and stare at you waiting for a handout....
Maybe some type of elk? We had a big full color guide sheet with all the animals and the names, but of course, it had disappeared!!
I'll try to post a video soon...
I went back to torture myself this morning....it hurts to sit, walk, bend down, type, breathe......I think you get the picture....lol

Fossil Rim. A drive thru safari park. Let me just tell you...it was AWESOME. We've been to two others and this one was by far the best. On the other two you would load up with a big group in a what was basically a covered trailer with a tour guide.
On this one, you stayed in your own car. We didn't have a tour guide, but we had a flyer with all the animals. You just looked up what you saw.
It was good, because half the time you couldn't understand the tour guides anyway!!!

We would drive around and feed the animals. Little Bit rode around and fed herself...
Notice something here? Hmmmm....Its her carseat!! It's turned around! Big Girl!!

Yes that was the animal food and no he didn't really eat it.
This shows you how the animals just walk right up to you!! It was great. I have a bunch of better pics of animals, I just wanted to show this first. We also have some F-U-N-N-Y videos too. Stay tuned!!!

We had no idea that all this time the dinosaurs were alive and well tucked away in a sleepy, little Texas hill-country town!!!
I am crazy. I am about to leave the house in a little bit to go to what is called "bootcamp". Not the REAL bootcamp, but an excercise program. It's supposed to last six weeks and I'm SUPPOSED to do this every Tuesday and Thursday. I am doing this with a friend, so maybe she'll hold me more accountable so I can't come up with excuses..I'm good at that!! Also, telling the "internets"(that would be you) will hopefully make me stay with it...we shall see....sure is early...sure does look COLD out there....*sigh*

We made it back. We ended up not going to N.O. due to the small fact that our hosts came down with the stomach virus....eww. So, we headed to Dallas instead. We got all packed Friday morning and loaded up, set out on I-20 and then got stopped by traffic. Cars lined up as fas as we could see....we sat there a bit and then Jamie noticed there were cars turning around in the median, so we followed suit. We proceeded to take the Grambling exit and dive on hiway 80 to the next exit. Wellllll...as we got a bit closer to the exit we got stopped by a train, a lONG train, that was going forward, then STOPPED and began to go backward. Cars lined up.... It finally moves out of the way and we get through. We come around the curve from that long tain wait to find this....
It really doesn't get any better than this...a cattle truck trying to round up a renegade...complete with dogs running amuck on the hiway! Again, cars lined up. We get through this and head to the exit only to find they closed it too...so we turn around again and head back to hiway 80 to take the Simsboro exit. We get to that one and find it's CLOSED too....UGH. You can't begin to imagine the frustration that has set in. We finally asked a deputy and he said the next exit was open for sure. So back to Hiway 80.. and this is how we spen the next hour and a half...Shall I say it again? Cars lined up......On a normal day, going to Arcadia from Ruston takes about 15 minutes..it took us alomst 2 hours!! Of course when we left that morning, we were going to get to Dallas BEFORE rush hour. Well, guess what....
CARS LINED UP....

Last Friday night was the annual Father/Daughter banquet at our church. So, of course Jamie took Miss Rubye Ann. Now I know that most of you who read this know Jamie. He likes to act s-i-l-l-y. That's where the boys get it from, b/c I NEVER act that way. *ahem*
Anyway, we were running very behind that night. Jamie had already loaded her in the van and I asked him to take her out b/c I wanted to take a picture of the two of them before they left. He just looked at me and said.."Seroiusly?"
OF COURSE I was serious...DUH...FATHER/DAUGHTER banquet....as if I'm NOT gonna take one? So, he got her out and we quickly ran inside . I told Miss RA to say cheese...snapped the button, and this is what I saw on the screen...

Here are some shots from when Rubye Ann got her present from Jamie and me. The boys had this same little car, except theirs wasn't pink..imagine that.
We have used it alot lately with all the warm weather. She is so funny. See how she is standing in the above pic? That's how she rides...with the seatbelt on..of course. That little smile never comes off her face when she's riding....
